| I been a long time member of this forum and recently I just got to reading the response by niXit and his once again way of the top drama queen moment. I know others are feeling the same and are just not being vocal about it. niXit you are being lame with your comments on carbon fiber. You say "I'm highly offended by improper use of carbon fiber or any high tech material." Please what do you call it when you couples wear that gold ring on their finger? Isn't gold best known for its reflect heat properties or as a conductor of electricity. Oh wait what about those lame ass diamonds women wear on their ears or as rings? Geez what the hell are they thinking, why do they think they need to wear the hardest natural material on earth? Oh wait how about the blind man walking around with his Titanium walking came. That has to be lame too! I wonder if back in the Golden Age there was a decendant of niXit saying stuff like "I am so god damm tired of these people using gold for everything, why they the hell do we need these gold bowls, look at this crazy shit a gold spoon, OMG some mother effr just made a gold chair and put it on his 4 horsepower chariot what a retard!" My point I am trying to make is that exotic or highly regarded materials whether precious or man made have a following. And people will use them as jewelry or as an ornament on something they care about. That is why some women dress up in Satin, gold and diamonds instead of a potato sack and leather moccasins. And that is why people put carbon fiber on there cars not for function but for fashion. Now I believe that niXit owes this forum an apology one that I am sure we will never see as that will require some humility and admission that he has a lack of self control. I think the bottom line is that the forum as a whole is tired of your tirades niXit cut it off. Or atleast follow the expression "If you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all." To the rest of you are making products for our car I salute you I applaud you keep it up and realize that the ones making a loudest roar as to how lame the product is, are simply a small whisper in applause from crowd of actual consumers. And to those who have been taking their cars cars to the next level and have spent lots of their own money IE collegeboy and others, continue doing it I as well as many others appreciate your efforts especially when you share them with us. And remember there is always someone who is going to say why did you spend that much money on that car when you could have bought a porsche or etc. I believe the answer is easy because it is our passion, it brings us pain (damm engine bay) it brings joy (hmm I need new rear tires), it brings grief (yes honey I am in the garage again), memories (scarred up hands), and basically happiness. Finally to you veterans you old timers, respect that at one time you too were a noob a big one! And that the best asset we can provide to this forum is our previous experience, knowledge or history. Give feed back yes but provide some validity to your comments, not just "GOD a track trailer head bolt really?" I for one would like to see a carbon fiber plenum made for some reason I always like the idea of a plenum that didn't heat soak so easily. But I am probably just lame ..
